Elite Community Development Empowerment Programme (ECODEP) is non-governmental organization that was started in 2017 and formally registered in 2019. The organization was founded out of a visible need to empower communities using locally available resources. The Goal of ECODEP is to alleviate poverty through facilitating sustainable development for communities. This is achieved through building capacity of community groups in creating and managing community empowerment projects by use of local resources. ECODEP work is geared towards contributing to the Kenya’s Vision 2030 Goals and realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
